Synopsis

Nevertheless, "Vermiglio" has its shortcomings
Delpero’s direction is both empathetic and insightful, allowing the characters to develop naturally throughout the film. The performances – particularly from lead actress Martina Scrinzi – are powerful and multifaceted, effectively portraying the protagonist’s inner struggles. The film thoughtfully addresses themes of nostalgia and the search for identity, and encourages viewers to reflect on their own notions of home and belonging.
