Synopsis

When it ended, he returned to Britain, unemployed and unsure of what to do next. I had no chance of getting a job, no apartment, no car, and no savings. Overall, the story is a viable adaptation
The characters are not up to par with each other, which detracts from an otherwise impressive and high-quality production. Lynch is not in any way a shadow, it’s just the high bar that Redmayne has set. A more experienced actor could have created a more believable counterpart/enemy character, needed to challenge the Jackal.
The barometer of deception is always in the background
The character development works to a certain extent, although some things in the main characters’ stories are left open-ended, but that may be intentional. The distribution of locations, various interactions and languages, and Redmayne’s character changes really add a special layer to the story arc. I can’t wait to see how Se01 ends and how the quality of Se02 is maintained or improved.
If so, Se02 could be very promising
I hope Lynch relaxes to be less forced and shows more nuance in his attempts to meet Redmayne.
