Theater director Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with re-staging her former mentor’s most famous work, the opera “Salome.” Haunted by dark and disturbing memories from her past, Jeanine allows repressed traumas to affect her present when she returns to the world of opera after a years-long hiatus.
