Synopsis
Adaptation of James Patterson’s series of novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. The sequel to the 2001 film Along Came a Spider; and the 2012 film Alex Cross, starring Tyler Perry as the titular character, bombed at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned Double Cross.
Aldis Hodge gives a standout performance as Alex Cross here
I’d been waiting for it since I first heard about it, so I had pretty high hopes. Well, this show not only lived up to those expectations but exceeded them in every way.
That movie was trash, this series is awesome
There was an Alex Cross movie released in 2012 starring Tyler Perry. Please don’t let that stop you from watching this one, as they are different in every way.
Amazon is so confident in this show that they’ve already renewed it for another season before the first episode even aired
Another great adaptation for Amazon Prime, they’ve done a fantastic job with their TV series adaptations (Reacher, Fallout, Lord of the Rings, Jack Ryan, The Boys, Bosch, The Wheel of Time, Daisy Jones and the Six, Good Omens, etc., etc.).
