Synopsis
When an 8-year-old girl disappears on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to connect, altering the history of a broken family. Caddo Lake is one of the few natural lakes in Texas, along with Green Lake and Natural Dam Lake.

Well, it’s obvious that the creators of Caddo Lake were inspired by the excellent German series Dark. There’s nothing wrong with that, but for me it felt a bit like déjà vu.
I still enjoyed watching it
There’s a nice mysterious atmosphere and that keeps you interested in the story. But like the Dark series it’s also very difficult to understand, you have to think about it deeply and then certain things might not seem plausible or make sense.
The acting was good, better than average, and so was the photography
Overall an interesting film, but if you’re looking for something longer and better, the German series is for you.
