TV series based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels
Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze criminals’ minds, mining into victims’ psyches to identify criminals and bring them to justice.. I’m probably one of the few people who actually enjoyed Tyler Perry’s reboot
Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned sequel Double Cross.. It was a solid film that only suffered because Tyler himself wasn’t really believable as someone who could find and deliver 3-piece combos of crooks, criminals, and villains.
Despite other reviewers claiming that the show starts off slow, I disagree
I have to assume that the potential of that reboot set the stage for this series. In the first 5 minutes, Aldis gives a whole new definition to the term “Dick” detective.
With Jack Ryan, seasons 2 and 3 were slower and weaker, I hope this series continues to build
Like the Jack Ryan series, this is a worthy entry into the genre, but this series isn’t as consistent. The stakes do increase in the later episodes, but in my opinion the series has a troupe, falters, then comes back to life around episode 5.

I think the team here knows how to tell a great story, it just felt like the pacing wasn’t.. A new season of "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
